Scalloped Mixed Vegetables With Cheese

Ingredientes

  • 1 head cauliflower cut in flowerets
  • 1 pound fresh peas, shelled or possibly frzn
  • 3 carrots, diced in sm. cubes
  • 1/2 pound boiling onions (or possibly canned & liquid removed)
  • 3 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 teaspoon butter
  • 4 tbsp. whole wheat pastry flour
  • 2/3 c. sharp Cheddar cheese

Direcciones

  1. Steam all vegetables separately till half done. Drain and put in baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over the vegetables. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees till tender and starting to brown around edges. Serves 8.
