Receta Scallops With Spicy Garlic Sauce

- Cook asparagus in medium saucepan of boiling salted water 1 minute. Drain.
- Heat 2 Tbsp. butter in heavy large skillet over medium heat. Add in mushrooms and garlic; saute/fry till mushrooms are tender, about 5 min.
- Add in onion; stir 1 minute. Add in soy sauce, sake, hon-dashi and cayenne; simmer till sauce thickens slightly, about 3 min. Remove pan from heat.
- Heat remaining 2 Tbsp. butter in heavy medium skillet over high heat.
- Season scallops with salt and pepper. Add in scallops to skillet and saute/fry till almost cooked through, about 3 min. Add in asparagus and toss till heated through, about 1 minute. Add in sauce and simmer 1 minute. Bon Appetit
