Ingredientes

  • 10 x jumbo shrimp (1 LB)
  • 2 ounce brandy (or possibly 1/4 c. white wine)
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  •     salt and fresh grnd black pepper to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp fresh minced garlic
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
  • 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil

Direcciones

  1. In a saute/fry pan heat oil and add in garlic and cook to a pale golden brown color. Don't brown.
  2. Add in shrimp and saute/fry about 3 min. Don't overcook! Add in salt and fresh grnd pepper to taste and poor in brandy to flambe.
  3. Immediately poor in heavy cream and simmer about 4 min to reduce sauce.
  4. Blend in butter and fresh parsley.
  5. Serve with pasta or possibly rice and fresh vegetables.
  6. Chicken would easily substitute in these recipes.
