Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1/2 c. quick-cooking rolled oats (not instant)
  • 1/4 tsp non-aluminum baking pwdr (such as Rumford)
  • 1/4 tsp grnd cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. light molasses or possibly sorghum syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. canola oil
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 c. walnuts coarsely minced
  • 1/4 c. raisins

  3. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray, and set it aside.
  4. Place the flour, rolled oats baking pwdr, cinnamon, and salt in a small mixing bowl. Stir them together and set aside.
  5. Measure out the molasses or possibly sorghum syrup in a small measuring c.. Then stir in the canola oil, water, and vanilla extract. Mix well. Pour this mix into the dry ingredients along with the walnuts and raisins. Mix thoroughly.
  6. Drop the dough by 12 rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each cookie lightly with the back of a spoon.
  7. Bake the cookies for 12 to 14 min, or possibly till they are lightly browned.
  8. Transfer the cookies to a cooling rack using a metal spatula. Cold the cookies completely before storing them.
