Ingredientes

  • 900 ml water
  • 300 gm sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. lemon juie
  • 6 tsp kewra (screwpine essence)

Direcciones

  1. Heat the water and sugar in a pan stirring till all the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Take off the heat cold slightly and add in the lemon juice and essence.
  3. Cold completely and bottle.
  4. Store in the refrigeratorDilute some of the sherbet with water and serve with plenty of ice.
  5. This sherbet is one of the many which are served in India. Countless seasonal sherbets made of exotic fruits like lychees guavas and papaya are stored in the pantry but when the best fruits are no longer available essences are used.
