Seared Tuna With Fresh Wasabi Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 4 x 6 ounce. pcs of fresh Tuna
  • 3 Tbsp. peanut oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp Oriental (dark) sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp. dry sherry
  • 1 1/2 tsp chopped fresh ginger
  • 1/2 c. radish sprouts
  • 2 x green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 c. soy sauce, low sodium
  • 6 Tbsp. fresh grnd wasabi
  • 1 lrg cucumber, seeded, peeled and julienned

Direcciones

  1. Whisk soy sauce, 2 Tbsp. peanut oil, sherry, sesame oil and ginger. Stir in green onion. Set aside. Sprinkle tuna with salt and pepper. Heat remaining 1 Tbs. peanut oil in heavy large skillet over high heat. Add in tuna and sear till opaque in center, about 3 min per side. Spoon cucumber onto center of plates. Top with tuna. Add in the grnd fresh wasabi to the sauce and spoon sauce around. Garnish with radish sprouts.
