Ingredientes

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch-wide strips
  • 4 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. dry Sherry
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. peanut oil
  • 6 ounce snow peas
  • 4 x garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 tsp chili paste with garlic
  • 1 x 8 oz can sliced bamboo shoots liquid removed
  • 1 x 8 oz can water chestnuts liquid removed
  • 1/4 c. canned chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds toasted
  • 3 x green onions sliced
  • 1 tsp oriental sesame oil
  •     Steamed rice
  •     Additional soy sauce

Direcciones

  1. Place first 4 ingredients in bowl and stir. Let marinate 15 min.
  2. Heat oil in wok or possibly heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add in snow peas, garlic and chili paste and stir-fry 30 seconds. Add in chicken with marinade and stir-fry 3 min. Add in bamboo shoots and water chestnuts and stir-fry till chicken is almost cooked through, about 2 min. Mix
  3. in broth. Add in sesame seeds and green onions; stir-fry 30 seconds. Add in sesame oil and toss to coat. Serve with rice, passing soy sauce separately.
