Ingredientes

  • 1 sm. head lettuce, shredded
  • 1 sm. sweet onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 (8 ounce.) cans water chestnuts, thinly sliced
  • 2 c. celery, diced
  • 2 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn peas, thawed
  • 1 1/2-2 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 lg. tomatoes, peeled, seeded & minced
  • 1 whole chicken breast, skinned & minced
  • 2 ounce. blue cheese, crumbled
  • 4 hard cooked Large eggs, sliced
  • 1/2-1 pound bacon, cooked crisp & crumbled

Direcciones

  1. Layer the first 5 ingredients in a serving bowl. Mix mayonnaise and sugar together, spread over top of salad, sealing to the edges. Cover and chill overnight. Before serving, arrange the cheese, tomato, chicken, egg and bacon on top. This works well in an oval serving bowl or possibly 9 x 13 inch pan. A beautiful salad for a buffet. Serves 16-20.
