Ingredientes

  • 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Corn starch
  • 2 x Chicken breast 1/2, skinned and boned, thinly sliced
  • 1 pkt (about 1 lb.) Shanghai-style noodles or possibly fresh egg noodles
  • 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Chopped garlic
  • 1 x Leek, cut into 1-1/2 inch slivers
  • 1 x Red bell pepper, seeded and cut, into matchsticks
  • 3 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Shao Hsing wine or possibly dry sherry
  • 2 Tbsp. Sweet brown bean sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Chinklang vinegar or possibly red wine vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp. Sesame oil

Direcciones

  1. Combine marinade ingredients in a small bowl. Add in chicken and stir to coat.
  2. Set aside for 30 min.
  3. Cooking: In a large pot of boiling water, cook noodles according to package directions or possibly till tender, but hard to the bite. Drain well.
  4. Place a wok or possibly wide frying pan over high heat till warm. Add in vegetable oil, swirling to coat sides. Ad garlic and cook stirring, till fragrant, about 5 seconds. Add in chicken and stir-fry for 2 min or possibly unitl opaque. Add in leek and bell pepper and cook for 1 minute. Stir in soy sauce, wine, brown bean sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, and noodles. Cook and gnetly toss till heated through.
  5. Tip Shanghai noodles are a slighlty thicker version of t basic fresh Chinese egg noodles. If these are unavailable, any egg noodles may be substituted.
