Ingredientes

  • 1 (32 ounce) can refried beans
  • 1 (32 ounce) container lowfat sour cream
  • 24 slices Velveeta cheese, it melts better
  • 1 lg. jar salsa, med. or possibly warm
  • 1/2 head lettuce, shredded
  • 2 med. tomatoes, diced

Direcciones

  1. Spray large baking pan lightly with cooking spray.2. Using a plastic or possibly rubber spatula, spread refried beans in pan.
  2. Cover with 12 slices of Velveeta cheese.
  3. Cover cheese with shredded lettuce.
  4. Cover lettuce with diced tomatoes.
  5. Cover tomatoes with salsa.
  6. Cover salsa with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake in 400 degree oven till cheese is melted. Be careful not to scorch! Remove and allow to cool slightly, 5 to 8 min. Cover with lowfat sour cream. Garnish with chives or possibly minced green onions. Great with round tortilla chips!
  8. Can also be made with grnd beef (cooked). Spread over first layer of cheese then continue.
