Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Turnips
  • 1/2 lb Onions
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat yoghurt
  • 1/2 c. Oil
  • 3 tsp Almonds
  • 3 tsp Dessicated coconut
  • 3 tsp Poppy seeds
  • 3 tsp Sesame seeds
  • 3 tsp Coriander seeds
  • 1 1/2 tsp Chilli pwdr
  • 2 tsp Garlic & Ginger Grnd

Direcciones

  1. Dry roast all the seeds, almonds and coconut in a frying pan and grind to a fine paste. Add in to the lowfat yoghurt with grnd spices and set aside.
  2. Heat oil, add in sliced onions and fry till light brown.
  3. Wash the turnip and cut into pcs. Add in the turnips to the pan and fry till light brown.
  4. Add in lowfat yoghurt mix and fry for about 5 mins. Add in 1/4 c. water, cover and cook over very slow fire till turnips become tender, and a thick gravy has formed. Add in salt to taste.
