.%E2%80%9D%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20front%20window,%20boasting%20all%20of%20the%20specials%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20breadth%20of%20delicoius%20meats%20available%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20made%20a%20few%20frantic%20calls%20to%20butchers%20and%20gourmet%20shops,%20and%20honestly,%20the%20nicest%20response%20I%20received%20was%20from%20the%20Esposito%20staff.%20They%20said%20they%20needed%20a%20full%20day%20to%20make%20this%20kind%20of%20order%20(totally%20understandable)%20so%20veal%20short%20ribs%20were%20out%20of%20the%20question,%20but%20we%20wanted%20to%20go%20there%20to%20see%20if%20our%20backup%20meal%20was%20available%E2%80%93hanger%20steak%20with%20beef%20marrow.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENot%20only%20did%20we%20get%20the%20meats%20we%20were%20looking%20for%20that%20weekend,%20when%20a%20dinner%20party-opportunity%20sprouted%20up%20a%20few%20weekends%20later%20and%20Michael%20had%20it%20in%20his%20head%20to%20give%20the%20veal%20short%20ribs%20another%20try,%20well,%20we%20made%20the%20necessary%20pre-emptive%20calls%E2%80%93as%20the%20butchers%20needed%20to%20call%20%E2%80%9Ctheir%20veal%20guy%E2%80%9D%E2%80%93and%20had%20the%20order%20for%204%20pounds%20of%20short%20ribs.%20You%20know%20how%20that%20ended%20up%20(spoiler%20alert:%20in%20the%20best%20possible%20way%20as%20we%20have%20leftovers),%20but%20the%20glee%20in%20our%20butcher%E2%80%99s%20eyes%20in%20showing%20us%20the%20cut%20of%20meat%20and%20our%20shared%20enthusiasm%20was%20even%20more%20proof%20that%20we%20had%20found%20a%20great%20place%20to%20get%20that%20special%20cut%20of%20meat.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMore%20importantly,%20though,%20is%20that%20the%20butchers%20working%20here%20take%20pride%20in%20what%20they%20do:%20you%E2%80%99re%20going%20to%20pay%20for%20a%20slab%20of%20meat%20and%20for%20them%20to%20trim%20it%20for%20you,%20but%20they%20will%20do%20it%20to%20you%20specifications.%20This%20is%20a%20place%20you%20can%20ask%20for%20bones%20and%20it%20requires%20no%20extra%20thought;%20they%20simply%20ask%20you%20how%20you%20want%20it%20cut.%20Everyone%20working%20there%20is%20very%20friendly%20and%20professional%20as%20this%20is%20not%20like%20going%20to%20a%20big%20mega%20mart%20and%20feeling%20like%20you%E2%80%99re%20hassling%20the%20%E2%80%9Cbutchers%E2%80%9D%20behind%20the%20counters%20for%20things%20that%20they%20should%20have%20in%20stock.%20Granted,%20it%E2%80%99s%20easy%20to%20have%20this%20easy%20kind%20of%20attitude%20when%20you%E2%80%99re%20supplying%20some%20amazing%20restaurants%E2%80%A6but%20still.%20If%20you%E2%80%99re%20excited%20about%20a%20particular%20cut%20of%20meat%20(especially%20one%20that%20is%20a%20special%20order)%20then%20this%20is%20your%20spiritual%20home,%20as%20they%20happily%20share%20your%20enthusiasm%20for%20whatever%20you%20may%20be%20making.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBottom%20line:%20if%20we%20want%20something%20specific,%20Esposito%20&%20Sons%20is%20your%20go-to%20location.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
