Ingredientes

  • 6 slices day old bread
  • 1 pound shrimp cooked, peeled & deveined
  • 1/4 pound cheddar cheese, diced
  • 4 T (1/2 stick) melted butter
  • 3 whole large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • Salt, pepper & cayenne to taste
  • 2 1/2 c. lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Trim bread and cut into cubes. Arrange layers of bread, shrimp and cheese in greased casserole. Pour melted butter over all. Beat large eggs and add in salt, pepper and cayenne to taste. Stir in lowfat milk and pour this mix over the whole dish. If you like, chill overnight. Bake 1 hour in 350 degree oven. Serves 4 to 6. NOTE: Be sure all are seated at the table ready to eat as you remove dish from oven to table since it will fall ever so slightly.
