- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups diced Yukon Gold potatoes, diced
- 3 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels
- 6 cups chicken stock
- 1 14.5-ounce can diced tomatoes
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sliced scallions (for garnish)
