Ingredientes

  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 c. uncooked long grain rice
  • 1 med. onion, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 can (13 3/4 ounce.) chicken broth plus water to make 2 1/2 c.
  • 8 ounce. scallops
  • 8 ounce. peeled & deveined shrimp
  • 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn peas, partially thawed

Direcciones

  1. In large skillet, heat butter; stir in turmeric. Add in rice, onion and garlic. Cook about 3 min till onion is translucent/soft. Pour in broth mix; bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 min. Add in scallops, shrimp and peas. Simmer covered for 5 min longer or possibly till scallops are opaque, shrimp turn pink and peas are heated. Taste and season. 4 servings. 390 calories per serving.
