Ingredientes

  • 2 Tbsp. dry wasabi pwdr
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1 c. regular or possibly reduced-fat mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. minced fresh mint leaves
  •     Salt to taste
  •     Fresh mint sprig for garnish
  • 1 1/2 lb shelled cooked shrimp - (31/40 ct) rinsed, liquid removed

Direcciones

  1. In a small bowl, mix wasabi pwdr with water till smooth. In a food processor or possibly blender, whirl mayonnaise, lemon juice, 2 minced mint, and three-fourths of the wasabi mix till smooth. Taste, and add in salt and more of the wasabi mix if you like; save remaining for other uses.
  2. Scrape into a bowl and garnish with a fresh mint sprig, rinsed. Serve with shrimp to dip into sauce.
  3. This recipe yields 12 to 14 appetizer servings.
  4. Comments: Look for wasabi pwdr in the spice or possibly Asian section of your supermarket or possibly in an Asian grocery store. If making wasabi mayo up to 1 day ahead, cover and chill.
