Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. minced peeled onion
  • 1/2 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. plain non-fat yogurt
  • 1 c. half-and-half
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. diced cooked shrimp
  • 1 c. grated Swiss cheese
  • 1 x unbaked 9" pie crust

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. In a heated skillet over medium-high heat saute/fry onion in butter till soft; remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Combine Large eggs, yogurt, half-and-half, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper and onion mix in a large skillet and stir well.
  4. Place shrimp and Swiss cheese in a 9-inch unbaked pie shell; add in egg mix and bake for 10 min, then reduce the heat to 300 degrees and continue baking till the top puffs and browns lightly and a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean, 35 to 40 min. Let quiche cold at least ten min before cutting into it.
