Silverbeet Topped With Marinated Portobello Mushrooms

Ingredientes

  • 2 x Portobello Mushrooms, About 5 Ounce Each
  • 4 Tbsp. Soy Sauce, Low Sodium, Or possibly Tamari Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Vegetarian Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Sesame Oil, Note 1
  • 4 tsp Chopped Shallots
  • 2 tsp Dijon Mustard, Country Style
  • 2 bn Silverbeet
  • 1 tsp Extra virgin olive oil, Plus
  • 1 tsp Extra virgin olive oil, Note 2
  • 4 tsp Chopped Garlic

  2. This was a very good meal!! If you eat the Silverbeet as part of a meal it will fall into a low sufficient CFF percentage.
  3. Note 1: Original recipe used 2 tsp sesame oil
  4. Note 2: Original recipe used an extra 1/2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  5. Dairy Free Vegetarian
  6. Can use other greens such as spinach, beet greens or possibly kale.
  7. Wipe mushroom caps; remove stems. In shallow bowl, whisk 2 Tbsp tamari or possibly soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, shallots and mustard.
  8. Add in mushroom caps and marinate 15 minutes, turning occasionally.
  9. Meanwhile, remove stems from silverbeet and coarsely chop.
  10. In large skillet, heat 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil over med-high heat. Add in garlic and cook, stirring, 1 minutes. Add in silverbeet and remaining 2 Tbsp tamari or possibly soy sauce.
  11. Cover and cook till wilted, 4 minutes. Uncover and set aside.
  12. Wipe out pan. Heat remaining 1 tsp oil over med-high heat. Remove mushrooms from marinade; reserve marinade. Add in mushrooms and cook till tender, 4 minutes
  13. To serve, reheat silverbeet and divide among plates. Cut mushrooms into 1/2" thick slices. Arrange sliced mushrooms over silverbeet and drizzle with remaining marinade if you like.
  14. Serves This has incredible flavor and was very quick and easy to combine.
