Receta Simple Sunflower Seed Granola
by brady evans

I didn’t really think I was brand loyal. I tried to think of a product that I would choose to purchase over another even if it was more expensive. I couldn’t really come up with anything.

I became a member of Costco this summer and my brand non-loyalty is a good thing in that situation. To keep prices down, few options are offered. I was forced into making a switch from my generic no-name Old Fashioned Rolled Oats to the Name Brand. Not just any switch – a 10lb dedicated switch. I thought it would be no big deal. 10 pounds of a name brand for a cheaper price – must be perfect, right?

Yeah. I’ll pay more for the generic. Those Name Brand oats just don’t suck up the water as well as the generic ones. The consistency can’t be matched. I’m pretty disappointed. The rate at which I eat my oatmeal has decreased. In an amount of time where I’d normally be through 4 pounds of generic oats, I’ve only eaten about 1.5 lbs.

Luckily. Luckily. The oats work splendidly in granola. Coincidentally, my life just got way crazier since school has started and a quick granola breakfast is just what the doctor (principal? students? Who is my boss, anyway?) ordered.

I set out looking for a granola that starred sunflower seeds since Swanson Health Products so generously supplied me with a few of their products. My order came quickly, the products are high quality, and the prices on the site really are fabulous. Please check Swanson Health Products out!
