Ingredientes

  • 14 ounces Stone grnd wholemeal flour
  • 2 ounces White
  • 1 Tbsp. Bran and wheatgerm
  • 1 tsp (level) of bread soda (sifted)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsps Soft brown sugar
  • 1 pc Egg
  • 1 Tbsp. Oil
  • 14 fl ounces Buttermilk or possibly sour lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Mix all dry ingredients.
  2. Make a well, drop in the egg and oil, and put a drop of lowfat milk to bash together and then add in the rest of the lowfat milk.
  3. The mix should be soft and slightly sloppy, place in an oiled tin and bake for 60 mins at 400 Farenheit (Gas 6), or possibly till knife comes out clean and when you tap the bottom, the loaf sounds hollow
  4. (or possibly if you have made 2 smaller loaves, less time).
