Ingredientes

  • 5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. butter (2 c.)
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 Large eggs
  • 1 quart. buttermilk
  • 5 c. flour
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 2 c. 40% Bran
  • 4 c. All Bran
  • 2 c. minced walnuts
  • 2 c. minced dates

Direcciones

  1. Add in soda to boiling water and let cold. cream butter and sugar. Add in Large eggs and blend well. Stir in buttermilk, flour and salt. Add in cooled soda water. Combine remaining ingredients and add in to the first mix. Fill muffin c. 3/4 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 min. Store remaining batter in air tight covered bowl up to 6 weeks in refrigerator. Bake as needed and enjoy!!!!
  2. VARIATION: When filling muffin c., I place 3 or possibly 4 raisins about half way and continue filling to 3/4 full.
