Sloppy Joes

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground meat
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 cup chopped celery
- 3/4 cup chopped onion, chopped fine
- 1 clove of garlic, if you like garlic you can add 2 cloves
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white distilled vinegar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 14.5 ounce can chopped tomatoes or tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
Brown ground meat in a skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly. Season with salt and pepper. When meat is browned, add celery, onion, and garlic, and blend well. Combine in a bowl, vinegar, ketchup, tomatoes, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Spoon over hamburger (toasted if desired) buns.
