Ingredientes

  • 8 slc bacon cut in 1-inch pcs
  • 1 lb lean grnd beef or possibly turkey
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 2 tsp cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1 x 8-oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 x 20-oz can pork and beans
  • 1 x 15-oz can kidney beans liquid removed
  • 1 x 15-oz can lima beans liquid removed
  • 1 x 15-oz can butter beans liquid removed

Direcciones

  1. In a skillet, cook bacon till limp. Remove bacon; place in a slow-cooker.
  2. Drain bacon drippings; throw away. Brown grnd beef in skillet. Put beef, onion, salt, dry mustard, vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, tomato sauce, pork and beans, kidney beans, lima beans and butter beans in slow-cooker; stir to combine.
  3. Cook on low 4 1/2 to 5 hrs.
  4. Note: To cook in oven, place ingredients in 2- to 3-qt casserole and bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs.
