I am in the midst of learning a new job. If only my dear friend hadn’t blurted out at a town hall meeting that SAP should stand for “Stupid Ass Program” (God rest her soul), I wouldn’t half laugh as I attempt to become an expert in this system.
With the job aids all looking alike, I stared at the computer screen weary-eyed. My mind drifting towards something comforting.
Stew. Yes, stew.
I left the house with this Meatball Stew in the slow cooker.
I want to rub my eyes. Only to realize that is not a brilliant idea. I wear contacts.
I peer out of my makeshift cube, glad to know I am alone. I yawn and let out a nice loud growl.
Knowing that the stew is simmering at home, I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I am thankful for the extra time I took to prep this dish before I left for the day.
My last thought is to remember to take each hurdle in the curve of learning one task at a time.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
