Smokey Corn Chowder

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt (can be omitted)
  • 1/8 teaspoonpepper
  • 4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 (12 ounce.) pkg. smoked sausage links, sliced
  • 1 (16 ounce.) can whole kernel corn, liquid removed (can use cream style)
  • 1 (8 ounce.) can lima beans, liquid removed

Direcciones

  1. In saucepan cook onion in butter till tender but not brown. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add in lowfat milk all at once. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Stir in sausage, corn and limas. Simmer 10 min. Makes 6 servings.
