A great old fashioned cinnamon sugar cookie.

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream butter, shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar until fluffy; add eggs and blend well.
  3. In a separate bowl, add flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt; whisk well until blended. Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture in 3 intervals, blending well after each addition.
  4. Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls.
  5. In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons sugar and the ground cinnamon; roll balls into mixture. Place the balls 2-inches apart on a sheet pan lined with a Silpat mat or parchment paper.
  6. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Immediately remove from sheet pan to a wire rack to cool.
