Snow Pudding (Chocolate Sauce)

Ingredientes

  • 2 env. unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (3 1/2 ounce.) can flaked coconut
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 teaspoon coconut extract
  • 2 c. all purpose cream, whipped

Direcciones

  1. Combine gelatin, sugar and salt. Gradually stir in lowfat milk. Cook over medium heat till sugar and gelatin dissolve. Remove from heat and refrigeratetill the consistency of unbeaten egg whites. Stir in flavorings. Mix in whipped cream and coconut. Pour all into a lightly oiled 1 1/2 qt mold. Refrigerateat least 6 hrs or possibly overnight. Unmold on to serving dish and top with chocolate sauce: flavored with pure orange.
