Receta Snowman Cookies
Looking for a fun cookie to make with your kids in the kitchen this year? These Snowman Cookies would be sure to please the everyone with the final result!
I felt that this year I needed to try out some new recipes for Christmas Cookies. I love snowmen and have always thought they were adorable. While I'm not a huge fan of winter, the beauty of the blanket of white when it first falls is amazing to look at. I do get over loving it quite quickly when I have to deal with driving in it, however, I will always be amazed at how beautiful it is!
While I love the decorative snowmen, I have to interject here that I love my real "Snow" men more. I have two of the best sons a mom could ask for and if you aren't sure what I'm talking about, their last name is Snow :) I have always called them my little snowmen...although they aren't too little anymore!
While these cookies are super adorable, they are very fragile. If you are thinking of making these to ship to someone you love, then I highly recommend wrapping in bubble wrap in the box and then bubble wrap the box in the shipping box. The plus side of their fragility is the fact you get to eat the broken ones! This particular recipe makes 1-1/2 dozen cookies. I tend to make smaller batches so that I don't have so many lying around tempting Grumpy or I to eat them all, and eat them all we did. All by ourselves. I think this is the first batch of cookies I have made this year that I didn't give away because we ate them all before I could do it!
Do you have a favorite cookie you like to make for the holidays? A favorite shape or maybe a favorite flavor? I know I am having a lot of fun making cookies this year so you should expect to see a few more show up of the following weeks before Christmas. Who knows, maybe you will find a cookie here you will want to try!
