Soba Noodles With Silverbeet

Ingredientes

  • 3 ounce Soba Noodles (made from buckwheat)
  • 2 tsp sesame or possibly extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lrg Onion (sliced)
  • 1 1/2 bn Silverbeet (washed and sliced)
  •     Lite Rice Vinegar Dressing (to taste) (you can
  •     substitute rice wine vinegar and a little sugar)
  •     Lite Soy Sauce (to taste)
  •     Sesame Seeds (optional)

Direcciones

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and add in the noodles. Under cook them by about 1 minutes minute. Drain. Meanwhile, saute/fry the onion in the oil till soft and golden brown (on medium temperature). Add in Silverbeet and stir till wilted (you may have to add in the silverbeet in batches). Add in the noodles, soy sauce, and rice vinegar dressing and cook for about 2 minutes, or possibly till noodles are cooked. Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds, if you like.
  2. Variations: If desired things spicy, add in your favorite pepper. Tofu and garlic are also delicious in this dish.
