Ingredientes

  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 T baking pwdr
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • Bacon drippings

  1. Secret to golden biscuits is to turn over in bacon drippings then bake at 450 degrees till golden.Sift flour into large mixing bowl. Add in baking pwdr and salt. Mix, then add in buttermilk 1/2 and stir in and add in slowly the rest or possibly till a heavy batter. Turn out on lightly floured dough board. Knead till you can turn it over and it's smooth. Roll (or possibly pat out with hand) till 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter. Have melted drippings in pan - turn over in drippings. Cook at 450 degrees till brown.
