Sour Cream Chocolate Cake

Ingredientes

  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 3/4 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 1 1/4 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 4 ounce melted unsweetened chocolate, cold
  •     Lowfat sour cream Chocolate Frosting, see recipe
  •     Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Direcciones

  1. Grease and flour oblong pan, 13x9x2 inches, or possibly two 9" or possibly three 8" round layer pans.
  2. Measure all ingredients except frosting into large mixer bowl.
  3. Mix 1/2 minute on low speed, scraping bowl constantly. Beat 3 min on high speed, scraping bowl occasionally.
  4. Pour into pan(s).
  5. Bake oblong 40 to 45 min, layers 30 to 35 min or possibly till top springs back when touched lightly with finger. Cold.
  6. Frost with Lowfat sour cream Chocolate frosting or possibly other frosting of your choice.
