Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Dairy lowfat sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. Shortening
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 pkt Active dry yeast
  • 1/4 c. Lukewarm water
  • 1 x Egg
  • 3 c. Sifted flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Soft butter
  • 1/3 c. Brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 tsp Grnd cinnamon
  • 1 c. Sifted confectioner's sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Lowfat milk or possibly light cream
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Heat lowfat sour cream in saucepan till lukewarm. Combine lowfat sour cream, shortening, sugar, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Sprinkle yeast on lukewarm water, stir to dissolve. Add in yeast and egg to lowfat sour cream mix.
  2. Gradually fold in sufficient flour to make a soft dough. Turn out on floured surface and knead lightly for one minute. Form into a ball and let rest 5 min. Roll into 13 X 9" rectangle. Spread with butter. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up like jelly roll from long side. Cut into 12 slices. Place in greased 13 X 9 X 2" baking pan. Let rise till doubled.
  3. About 1 1/2 hrs. Bake in 375 degree oven 22 min or possibly till golden. Remove from pan, cold on rack. While hot, drizzle with confectioners sugar icing. CONFECTIONERS SUGAR ICING. Combine 1 c. sifted confectioner's sugar, 2 Tbsp light cream or possibly lowfat milk and 1 tsp vanilla. Beat till smooth.
