Sour Dough Angel Biscuits

Ingredientes

  • 5 c. self-rising flour
  • 3/4 c. shortening
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1/2 c. lukewarm water
  • 2 c. buttermilk

Direcciones

  1. Mix flour, shortening, soda, salt and sugar. Dissolve yeast and hot water. Add in to flour mix. Add in buttermilk. Stir well. Chill and let chill. Roll out to 1/2 inch thick, cut with biscuit cutter. Let rise about 1 hour. Bake at 400 degrees for approximately 15 min.
