Receta Sourdough Surprises Crackers
It is the 20th of the month and that means it's Sourdough Surprises Challenge!! The challenge for this month is Crackers!!
I have never made crackers before so I was looking forward to this challenge. I decided to use my Rye Sourdough Starter because I thought the rye starter would give the crackers a stronger flavor. These crackers turned out excellent and were very addictive! I can't wait to make these again:) I never thought making crackers was so easy!!
I used the recipe that was on Sourdough Surprises from C Mom Cook
Sourdough Crackers:
- 1 cup sourdough starter, (rye)
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- McCormick Grill Mates Molasses Bacon
- olive oil
Combine flour, starter and butter. Add enough flour to form a stiff ball. Cover and let sit for at least 10 minutes. After 10 minutes has passed roll dough out very thin. Baste olive oil. Sprinkle with molasses bacon seasoning. Cut dough lengthwise then cross wise to create cracker shapes. Transfer to a baking sheet. Prick the top of each cracker with a fork. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes has passed begin checking crackers. Depending on how thin you rolled them, will depend on how quickly they cook. These burn quickly so pay close attention. Enjoy!
