Receta SOURDOUGH WAFFLES

These waffles made with sourdough starter are so good. You can add nuts, fruit, and berries to the sourdough mix to make them even better.

Melt butter in milk in microwave. Allow to sit and cool. Stir together sourdough starter, salt, brown sugar, and flour, then add cooled butter and milk and stir well. Cover bowl and let sit overnight. Next morning add 2 eggs and 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, cinnamon and vanilla and stir again. Spray and heat waffle iron. I used a 1/4 cup measuring cup for each waffle. Add your favorite syrup, honey, or molasses for a real treat. Makes about 8 or 9 waffles. Enjoy!
