- Sift dry ingredients into a bowl. Cut in the butter. Work in the starter till well blended. Turn out onto floured surface and knead gently for 2 min. Pat dough to thickness of about 1 inch. Cut into rounds with biscuit cutter; place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 min.
