I don’t know what more to say other than that I am in love with creole/Cajun foods. We have a unique restaurant in our neck of the woods that serves Cajun food and drinks and I am in love with this place! Anyway, we were there recently and had the best crawfish etouffee ever, and when I went to the market the next day I saw these precooked crawfish and died. When I recovered, I bought a couple of pounds ($3.99/pound) ran home and steamed them up. I served them over a box of Zatarain’s dirty rice (that I cooked up–duh) and that was it! Now, I will say that there isn’t a whole lot in the way of “meat” on the little guys, but 4 of us sat around a table, drinking cold beer, peeling and eating (dipping in garlic drawn butter) and had some great conversation.
