Receta Soy Garlic Chicken
Filipinos love their garlic that is why if you are observant you will notice that most of the Filipino dishes that I had posted here on my blog have lots of garlic on them. We so love our garlic we use fried garlic everywhere, when cooking, when garnishing, we even use it as a flavouring for our chips and peanuts.
Garlic is not just a very flavourful culinary item but it also have some medicinal use and health benefits that why when an oily dish is served in Philippines they put a lots of garlic to it because there’s a popular saying that this balances out the bad stuff. That belief is not just a saying but actually true and some claims are supported by scientific studies that garlic has been found to prevent heart disease and cancer. It also has some antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties to it, that why you see some food supplements that is made out of garlic oil.
Now this simple dish might not alleviate any heart related diseases you may have but trust me this is a good comfort food which can be used as an main dish, appetizer, side dish or even pair it with an ice cold beer.

Marinate chicken pieces in garlic, soy sauce and lemon for at least 24 hours. Before cooking let it cool down to room temperature. Shallow fry chicken pieces covered for 8-10 minutes. Covering the pan will make the chicken sticky as the moisture goes back to the oil. 3.2.2807
