Spaghetti Sauce (Easy Low Fat)

Ingredientes

  • 2 can tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 2 x onions minced
  • 1 x green pepper minced
  • 4 stalk celery minced
  • 1 x zucchini in bite size pcs
  • 1/2 lb mushroom sliced,(1/2 to 3/4)
  • 1 Tbsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. basil
  • 2 x bay leaves
  • 8 x cloves chopped garlic
  •     serrano pepper sauce to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar

Direcciones

  1. Spray a large pot (dutch oven) with cooking spray and sautee vegetables till tender.
  2. Add in spices and tomatoes (minced up somewhat) and tomato paste.
  3. Simmer till done (I just leave it on the stove for a couple of hrs to allow the spices to blend). Serve over cooked pasta (al dente).
  4. Top with freshly grated parmesan cheese if you do not mind the extra fat.
