Receta Spanikopita~Spinach Pita

A very nice appetizer for any occasion. Easy to make and very savory

Ingredientes

8 Ounces Ricotta Cheese

1 Pkg Cream Cheese

4 Ounces Feta
-
1 Medium Chopped onion

1 Small bunch peppermint
-
2 Small Packages Frozen chopped spinach

2 Eggs

Butter
-
Filo Dough

Sesame Seeds

Direcciones
- Drain Ricotta cheese
- Place cheeses into large mixing bowl and blend thoroughly
- Add chopped onions, chopped mint and eggs
- Squeeze spinach in a tea towel removing all liquid
- Add this to the mixing bowl and blend
- Melt butter in saucepan
- Get 11 X 17 pan, brush with butter
- Layer filo dough, buttering between each layer until you use half of all the filo in package
- Pour spinach mixture on top of filo, then layer remaining filo layers buttering each one
- As you lay the last filo dough down, tuck all the ends neatly into the pan, tiding up all the stray pieces
- Butter the top, and sprinkle with sesame seeds
- Bake 350 for 25 minutes
