Ingredientes

  • 3 lb oxtails - (to 4 lbs) disjointed
  • 3 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 x onions minced
  • 2 x garlic cloves finely chooped
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. beef stock
  • 3/4 c. dry red wine
  • 1/2 c. tomato sauce
  • 6 x peppercorns
  • 1/2 tsp dry oregano
  • 1 x dry red chile pepper seeded, minced
  • 2 whl cloves
  • 2 x carrots minced
  • 1 x red bell pepper minced
  • 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
  • 2 x potatoes cut in chunks
  •     Salt to taste
  •     Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Brown oxtails on all sides in oil in skillet. Add in onions and garlic and cook 5 min. Sprinkle flour over the meat, blend well and cook 2 min. Add in the meat and remaining ingredients to the crock pot, placing potatoes in the bottom. Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hrs.
