Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 dsh Nutmeg
  • 2 x Egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk, approximately
  • 8 c. Water
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Direcciones

  1. In large bowl combine flour, salt, and nutmeg. With a wooden spoon, beat Large eggs into flour mix. Gradually add in lowfat milk, stirring constantly, till mix forms a smooth, soft, moist, dough. If the dough is too thick, add in more lowfat milk a Tbsp. at a time. Put water and salt in a sauce pan and bring to boil. Put a small amount of dough in a colander and press with the back of a spoon over the boiling water to create dumplings. Cook uncovered five to seven min, stirring occasionally. Remove with a slotted spoon.
  2. Repeat with rest of dough. Serve with butter or possibly add in to soups.
  3. NOTES : Add in these to soups or possibly serve them with butter as a side dish.
