Ingredientes

  • 2 pt cottage cheese, (small curd)
  • 5 pkt G. Washington broth or possibly MBT vegetable, (see note) broth
  • 1 stk margarine, melted
  • 5 lrg Large eggs
  • 1 c. walnuts, minced
  • 1 lrg onion, minced
  • 1 x 12 ounce box Special K cereal
  •     vegetable cooking spray

Direcciones

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a very large bowl, adding cereal last.
  2. Spread in a 13x9x2" baking dish lightly sprayed with cooking spray. (Mix will be quite thick).
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F for one hour. May freeze before baking for later use.
  4. VEGAN VARIATION: Replace cottage cheese and Large eggs with two 16 ounce. pkgs. of tofu (soft & mashed or possibly regular & blended till smooth in blender or possibly food processor). When using tofu, add in one extra package of broth. Bake at 350 degrees F for one hour or possibly till browned and crispy (may take longer).
  5. There is very little difference in flavor when using tofu. The main difference is which the texture may be softer compared to the regular recipe's crispness.
