Spicey Chickpea/Butterbean Pasta

Ingredientes

  • 1 pkt Your favorite pasta
  • 2 can Chickpeas, liquid removed and
  •     Rinsed
  • 2 can Butterbeans including
  •     Liquid
  • 1 can Vegetable stock (14 1/2 Ounce)
  • 3 lrg Chili peppers
  • 1 x To 2 jalepanos
  • 1 x Tobasco sauce to taste

Direcciones

  1. Make pasta as usual. Meanwhile, heat a dutch oven over med. heat. Add in a little veg stock. Chop chilis into large chunks and saute/fry in stock (include the seeds) for about 2 min. Add in chickpeas and more veg stock and cook for 5-10 mins. Add in the butterbeans with liquid and the rest of the veg stock. Let simmer and liquid reduce some.
  2. If chilis are not warm sufficient, puree in blender or possibly chopper 1 or possibly 2 jalepanos and add in. Then add in tobasco to taste.
  3. I am drooling thinking about the leftovers in the fridge. I cannot wait to make and eat more.
