Receta Spicy Avocado Cheese Dip
Sometimes life isn't fair - sometimes the most fun holidays are on a weeknight and your only option is to stay in and celebrate from home sweet home. But don't let the fact that Cinco de Mayo is on a Tuesday this year deter you from making fabulous plans for your own little at-home celebration! I've found with the help of easy Mexican recipes, a weeknight Cinco de Mayo can still turn out fabulous and delicious. I created this Spicy Avocado Cheese Dip for an easy addition to diy taco bars and let me tell you, it will certainly be a hit! This dip is thick, creamy, cheesy and packed with fresh + spicy flavors - a must for an at-home Happier Hour this upcoming May 5th!
When I say easy - I'm not joking either! This Spicy Avocado Cheese Dip is one of those dips that is made by dumping all of the ingredients into a food processor and sitting back while the machine does the hard work. Then, stick it in the fridge until ready to serve. Heck, you could even make the dip before going to work on Tuesday and it will be ready to devour when you get home and start the Cinco de Mayo celebrating!
To help get the party started quickly, we are also going to bake up some Delimex products! Since we don't always have time to whip up a "from scratch" homemade meal - we go with a frozen alternative. I like that Delimex uses time-honored recipes and high-quality ingredients you expect in a home-cooked Mexican meal. {They have a pretty cool back story, it's worth a quick check out at their site!} I decided on Delimex Chicken & Cheese Taquitos and Beef & Cheddar Rolled Tacos for this test run and they were both a perfect accompaniment to the Spicy Avocado Cheese Dip!
So, if it's avocados you like and spiciness that you need - Spicy Avocado Cheese Dip is the perfect dip! The heat can be controlled by the amount of jalapeños and sriracha sauce that are added. We like hot & spicy food, and this recipe has the perfect amount of kick. Although the rest of my menu for Cinco de Mayo isn't complete - I know I'll be making refried beans and mexican rice in addition to this dip. Do you have any quick Cinco de Mayo recipes that can help create the perfect weeknight celebration?
