Spicy Tuna With Potatoes

Ingredientes

  • 1 can tuna (about 200g) - drain off oil/water.
  • 1 large potato (about 250g) - remove skin and sliced into thin squares.
  • Spices - 1 cinnamon, 2 cloves and 1 star anise
  • 1 tbsp fish curry powder
  • 1 large red onion - sliced thinly
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala/all spice powder
  • 3-4 sprigs mint leaves (can replace with curry leaves)
  • Oil as needed
  • Salt for taste

Direcciones

  1. Add salt to potatoes and deep fry.
  2. Remove and keep aside.
  3. Leave about 2 tbsp of oil in the same pan.
  4. Sauté onion and spices.
  5. Add curry powder and garam masala and quickly stir.
  6. Put in tuna and season with salt.
  7. Continue to stir/scramble for about 3-4 mins.
  8. Lastly add fried potatoes and mint leaves.
  9. Another few stirs and remove from heat.
