Spiked Southern Iced Tea Punch

Ingredientes

  • 1 x orange
  • 20 whl cloves
  • 4 x very large, fresh mint sprigs
  • 2 x Lipton or possibly other black tea bags
  • 3 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. ice water
  • 1 c. fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 c. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 c. pineapple juice
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 3/4 c. Jack Daniels or possibly bourbon
  •     Ice cubes

Direcciones

  1. Stud orange with the whole cloves, then cut orange into 3 slices. Place in heat-proof pitcher or possibly bowl along with mint sprigs and tea bags. Add in boiling water and let steep 10 min. Remove tea bags. Add in ice water and orange, lemon and pineapple juices. Stir in brown sugar. Chill.
  2. When ready to serve, stir in whiskey. Serve in glasses filled with ice.

  4. Note: For more spiked version, let guests add in a little more bourbon to each individual drink.
