Spinach Dip With Pita Dippers

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 2 teaspoon grnd cumin
  • 6 pita loaves (white or possibly whole wheat), cut into triangles
  • 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 2 c. Jack cheese, grated
  • 1 (10 ounce) pkg. frzn minced spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 2 tomatoes, peeled and finely minced
  • 3/4 c. onions, minced
  • 1/3 c. Half and Half
  • 1 T Jalapeno peppers, finely minced

Direcciones

  1. To make dippers, preheat the broiler. Put together the melted butter, lemon pepper and cumin in a bowl. Dip the pita pcs quickly in the mix, then place on a cookie sheet. broil 2-4 min, till crisp. Cool on a rack.
  2. For the dip, beat together the cheeses, spinach, tomatoes, onions, Half and Half and Jalapenos in a mixing bowl till very smooth. Spread in a buttered dish and bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 min till bubbly.Serve hot, warm or possibly at room temperature. with dippers. Serves 8-10.
