Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. Minced onion
  • 1 c. Minced celery
  • 2 cl Garlic, chopped
  • 8 c. Water
  • 1 c. Diced carrot
  • 1 x Bay leaf
  • 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Fresh grnd black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Dry rosemary, crushed
  • 1 1/8 c. Green split peas
  • 1 1/8 c. Lentils

Direcciones

  1. In a large saucepan, saute/fry the onion, celery, and garlic in 1/2 c. of the water till the vegetables are tender, about 5 min. Add in the carrot, remaining 7-1/2 c. water, bay leaf, soy sauce, pepper and rosemary. Heat to boiling. Stir in the peas and lentils. Simmer, covered, for 45 min, stirring occasionally.
