,%20and%20now%20here%20it%20is%20February%20and%20time%20to%20do%20it%20again.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20Secret%20Recipe%20Club%20is%20really%20quite%20fun.%20%20Once%20a%20month%20we%20are%20assigned%20a%20blog%20and%20we%20have%20to%20make%20something%20from%20that%20blog%20and%20share%20it.%20%20%20There%20are%20four%20groups%20and%20each%20group%20is%20assigned%20a%20'reveal'%20date.%20%20%20I'm%20part%20of%20Group%20B,%20and%20this%20month%20our%20reveal%20date%20is%20today.%20%20%20%20All%20the%20participants%20in%20the%20group%20reveal%20their%20finds%20and%20recipes%20at%20once.%20%20%20I%20have%20to%20say%20that%20I've%20found%20some%20great%20recipes,%20because%20I%20usually%20don't%20have%20time%20to%20sit%20and%20look%20for%20new%20blogs%20to%20read.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20found%20this%20recipe%20over%20on%20Hezzi-D's%20Books%20and%20Cooks%20site.%20%20%20%20And%20since%20it%20was%20Super%20Bowl%20Sunday%20last%20week,%20I%20thought%20that%20Jalapeno%20Popper%20Dip%20was%20a%20natural%20to%20take%20to%20a%20party.%20%20%20Well,%20I%20also%20brought%20some%20of%20my%20Chile%20Verde,%20but%20this%20sounded%20so%20good,%20and%20since%20I%20had%20all%20the%20ingredients,%20well,%20I%20had%20to%20make%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20you've%20read%20this%20blog%20at%20all,%20you%20know%20I%20love%20my%20spicy%20food,%20and%20especially%20jalapeno's.%20%20%20In%20fact%20I%20always%20have%20some%20frozen%20jalapeno's%20in%20the%20freezer,%20I%20just%20take%20out%20the%20seeds,%20and%20cut%20them%20in%20half%20and%20freeze%20them.%20%20%20%20And%20this%20way,%20I%20only%20go%20through%20one%20set%20of%20gloves%20a%20month,%20please%20don't%20seed%20and%20cut%20up%20jalapeno's%20without%20some%20kind%20of%20protection%20on%20your%20hand.%20%20%20It%20hurts%20otherwise.%20And%20seeded%20frozen%20jalapeno's%20are%20so%20handy%20to%20have%20on%20hand.%20%20%20And%20it%20just%20so%20happened%20I%20had%20all%20the%20ingredients%20in%20my%20fridge%20and%20cupboard%20for%20this%20recipe.%20%20%20Don'tcha%20just%20love%20it%20when%20that%20happens?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EJust%20ignore%20the%20tomatoes,%20pay%20attention%20to%20the%20blue%20glove,%20this%20is%20the%20only%20way%20to%20prepare%20jalapeno's.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20just%20love%20being%20able%20to%20do%20that.%20%20%20Which%20reminds%20me,%20I%20need%20to%20get%20some%20more%20cream%20cheese.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESorry,%20just%20had%20to%20go%20and%20make%20a%20note.%20%20%20I'm%20back%20now.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EJalapeno%20Popper%20Dip%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20Preheat%20the%20oven%20to%20375%20degrees.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20%20%20Toss%20the%20diced%20bacon%20into%20a%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Esmall%20saut%C3%A9%20pan.%20Cook%20until%20it%E2%80%99s%20almost%20brown.%20Add%20in%20the%20diced%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ejalapenos%20and%20cook%20until%20soft.%20%20Then%20add%20the%20minced%20garlic%20clove,%20stir%20around%20to%20let%20it%20cook%20for%20about%2030%20seconds.%20%20%20Then%20place%20aside%20to%20cool%20for%20a%20few%20minutes%20while%20you%20prepare%20the%20cream%20cheese.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20In%20the%20Kitchen%20Aid%20mixer,%20(or%20in%20a%20bowl)%20%20combine%20the%20cream%20cheese,%20grated%20cheese,%20mayonnaise,%20and%20mix%20together.%20%20%20Add%20the%20bacon,%20green%20chiles,%20jalapeno%20and%20garlic.%20%20Mix%20just%20till%20combined.%20%20%20Place%20in%20a%20greased%20baking%20dish%20and%20smooth%20out.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4.%20In%20the%20pan%20you%20sauteed%20the%20jalapeno's%20in,%20melt%20the%20butter,%20%20and%20if%20a%20few%20jalapeno%20pieces%20didn't%20make%20it%20into%20the%20cream%20cheese%20mixture,%20don't%20worry%20about%20it,%20they%20work%20well%20here,%20I%20actually%20left%20a%20few%20on%20purpose.%20%20Then%20add%20the%20bread%20crumbs%20and%20mix%20together.%20%20%20Add%20the%20last%20cup%20of%20grated%20cheese%20and%20toss.%20%20%20%20Spread%20evenly%20over%20the%20dip%20and%20bake%20for%20about%2020%20minutes%20or%20a%20little%20longer%20if%20you%20like.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServe%20warm%20with%20some%20nice%20corn%20chips,%20but%20don't%20be%20surprised%20if%20your%20guests%20just%20spoon%20up%20some%20of%20the%20dip%20and%20spread%20on%20other%20foods%20as%20well.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20didn't%20get%20to%20take%20more%20than%20a%20spoonful%20home%20with%20me.%20%20%20%20%20But%20that's%20OK,%20cause%20there%20was%20a%20lot%20of%20good%20food%20there%20as%20well.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
